John Carroll, has called for a mature debate on the traveller community and their culture and tradition, in the wake of the controversy surrounding the comments of Presidential candidate, Peter Casey. Fr. Carroll says there seems to be a conditioned prejudice among the settled community towards travellers, and admits he too has some such prejudice
