Marie Elizabeth Treacy, nee Boland, formerly of Carranurlar, Castleconnor, Co Sligo. Passed away on October 4th, aged 86 years. Funeral service at Our Lady Queen of Peace,  St John’s, Worcester, England, on Friday at 1pm.

Maura Cummins (nee Starr), Millhill Lawns, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim, and formerly of Sheeling, Circular Road, Sligo. Reposing at her family home on Thursday evening from 6pm to 9pm with house private thereafter.  Removal to St Clare’s Church, Manorhamilton on Friday morning for funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan Town at 4pm.  Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Our Lady’s Hospital Patient Comfort Fund.

Tim (Timmy) Newell, Veeceeze, Pearse Road, Sligo.  Suddenly at his home. A gathering to celebrate Tim’s journey through life will take place on Thursday evening at Cannis Major Clayton Hotel, Clarion Road Sligo from 5pm to 8.30pm sharing memories, pictures with voice and musical tributes. Cremation to follow in Lakelands Crematorium,  Cavan on Friday at 2pm. No flowers by request. Donations in lieu if desired to COPD Awareness.

Patrick (Pat) Gallagher, 12 Dristernen, Drumshanbo and formerly of Tents, Lough Allen, Co. Leitrim. Unexpectedly. Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Thursday evening from 6pm until 8.15pm followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Drumshanbo,  arriving at 9pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 1pm. John (Johnny) McPartlan, Drumlease, Dromahair and formerly Corry, Drumkeerin, Co. Leitrim. Reposing at the residence of his brother Tommy and sister-in-law Lily on Thursday from 4pm until 10pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10.45am in St Colmcille’s Church, Newbridge. Burial afterwards in Drumkeerin Cemetery. Patricia (Patsy) Walsh, nee Biggins, formerly of Ballinrobe, Co Mayo, and Dundrum, Dublin. Peacefully after a long illness at the residence of her daughter Patricia.  Loving mother of Robert, Fiona, Patricia, and Majella. Reposing at her daughter’s residence, ‘Dunamase’, Keadue Road, Leitrim Village, Co Leitrim, between 5pm and 9pm this evening, with family time thereafter please. Vincent Cunningham, 35 Millbrook, Kinlough, Co Leitrim, and formerly Ballinameen, Co Roscommon. Peacefully at Brentwood Nursing Home, Convoy, Co Donegal. Remains reposing at his late residence on Thursday evening from 5pm to 9pm. Removal on Friday morning to arrive at St Aidan’s Church, Kinlough, for 11am funeral Mass, with burial afterward in St Aidan’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. William (Bill) Healy, Pearse Road, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Peacefully at Bailey’s Nursing Home, Tubbercurry. Remains will repose at the Perry Funeral Home, Ballymote on Thursday from 5pm to 6.30 p.m., followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote, to arrive at 7pm.. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards to St. Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote.

Claire Norman, (nee Verdon), Rathonoragh, Strandhill Road, Sligo. Peacefully at her home. Reposing at the family home at Strandhill Road, Sligo from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday. Home private at all other times. Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am on Friday in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Burial follows in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.
