Businesses across Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal are being encouraged to take on apprentices.
Julie Mannion of Solas said it is a mutually beneficial arrangement for both the employer and the apprentice.
She was speaking following the recent graduation of apprentices from Sligo and Leitrim who were presented with their Advanced Certificate Craft.
