Housing protestors occupy Sligo town house



Campaigners in Sligo are defending their decision to occupy a Council-owned property in an effort to highlight the housing crisis.

A number of campaigners are in a premises on Market Street today.

They state that buildings like this are lying empty in towns around the country yet people are waiting weeks and months on housing waiting lists.
