Michael Collins was incarcerated in Sligo Gaol for 17 days in August 1918. His grandniece, Mary Claire O’Malley, visited Sligo at the weekend, where she unveiled a portrait of Collins. It was part of a series of events organised by the Friends of Sligo Gaol over the weekend
