Presidential election hopeful, Kevin Sharkey, has defended his call that those who harm older people should be subject to the death penalty. Mr Sharkey has also criticised some ‘lazy’ councillors who ask ridiculous questions of candidates during council meetings, and has described Michael D. Higgins as a ‘broken old man’
