Road traffic to increase this week as schools return



Schools are reopening this week and that means more traffic and children on the roads.

Safety experts are asking drivers to slow down as well as avoiding dangerous parking near schools.

Donegal County Council Road Safety Officer Brian O’Donnell is warning that mornings and afternoons will be much busie on the roads and near schools.

And he has this appeal for those walking or cycling in rural areas in Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim on their ways to and from school:
