Cruise ship brings more than 3,000 visitors to Killybegs



Thousands of tourists are in County Donegal today as the MS Queen Elizabeth makes a surprise return to Killybegs.

3,200 passengers, mostly from Australia and America, docked in the town this morning.

The luxury liner docked for the first time ever in Killybegs on 20 July this year, it was the largest cruise ship ever to dock at Killybegs port.

The ship was to have visited Stornoway in the Hebrides today, but in a last minute itinerary change, came to Killybegs instead.
