Harps drawn away to Dundalk in FAI Cup

Finn Harps have been handed possibly the toughest draw in round two of the FAI Cup.

The Donegal side will have to travel to Oriel Park to face Premier Division high-fliers Dundalk in round two, following their extra-time defeat of Bray Wanderers last weekend.

Longford Town’s reward for knocking out Sligo Rovers on Saturday, is a home tie against a Shelbourne side managed by former Rovers boss Owen Heary.

Holders Cork City will face Maynooth University, and there is one all-Premier Division tie as Derry City will host St Patrick’s Athletic.

The games will be played on the last weekend in August.

First Division leaders UCD travel to CIE Ranch. Bohemians face another First Division test, after beating Wexford in the first round, as they travel to Eamonn Deacy Park to face Galway United.

Premier Division side Limerick have been handed a home tie against Cabinteely whilst Shelbourne travel to the City Calling Stadium to face First Division rivals Longford Town to complete the draw.
