Donegal TD accuses government of being ‘anti-rural Ireland’

A Donegal TD has accused the government of being ‘anti-rural Ireland’.

Over 100 rural post-offices are to close across the country, with twenty-one set to go in the Northwest.

In Sligo, Ballinfull, Dromard, Gurteen and Monasteradan will close, while four will also close in Co Leitrim, including Killargue and Newtowngore.

In Co Donegal, thirteen post offices

are set to close; and Fianna Fail Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher is calling on the government to keep their promise, that no post-office will close…..
