The County Council have welcomed the decision by a traveller family in Sligo to vacate Connaughton Road car-park.
The McGinley family have been residing illegally in Connaughton Road car park in Sligo for the past 35 years.
Speaking exclusively to Ocean FM, a family representative says they are prepared to move into the nearby Glenview Park Halting Site on Ash Lane, a plan which they claim is being proposed by the Council.
And Sligo County Council have said they will work to progress the situation.
