Up to 400 new jobs could be created by a new €10 million retail development in Donegal Town.
The development, which will be situated close to The Diamond, will consist of a supermarket, a number of retail units, coffee shops and 200 car-parking spaces.
Railway Road Trading Ltd, a private Company owned by the McCann family from Belfast, are behind the development, and they say they aim to lodge a planning application to Donegal County Council before the end of September.
Earlier this week, the pharmaceutical company Abbott, announced that they will create 500 new jobs over the next three years.
The Mayor of Donegal Town, Pauric Kennedy, says things are now looking up for the area…..
