A Sligo councillor is calling for money to be provided in the council’s budget this November for portaloo toilet facilities next summer at beaches in the county.
Councillor Marie Casserly says that the demand for such facilities was particularly noticeable during the recent spell of good weather.
And with the success of the Wild Atlantic Way, there are more visitors to our beaches.
Cllr Casserly says now is the time to make funding plans for next year.
