A Sligo Leitrim TD is calling for the investment in homecare supports to reflect the demand.
Sinn Fein TD Martin Kenny says in light of our aging population the need for homecare supports is increasing every year.
At present over 350 people in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal are among more than 6000 waiting for the homecare packages.
