Ulster Bank weather fund to help farmers through the winter

Ulster Bank says it’s launched a new €15m weather fund to help farmers under financial pressure as a result of extreme weather conditions.

Anne-Marie Butler, Agriculture Manager with Ulster Bank says they are aware of the challenges this year has brought.

The fund is a loan and will be open to farmers to apply for until the end of the year.

She says it’s mainly to help farmers through the winter ahead.
