Six killed on the roads in the Northwest in the first six months of the year



Six people have been killed on the roads in the Northwest in the first six months of the year.

5 people died on the roads in Donegal, one in Sligo and none in Leitrim. Nationwide there were 78 fatalities.

The latest figures from the Gardaí and Road Safety Authority say if the current trends continue, another 78 people could be killed before the end of the year.
