Forty-six people on trolleys in the North West today



There are 46 people on hospital trolleys in the north west today waiting for a bed.

Thirty-five are in Letterkenny University Hospital and eleven in Sligo University Hospital.

The most overcrowded hospital today is University Hospital Limerick, where there’s 48 people on trolleys.

Overall throughout the country, there are more than 290 people on trolleys today, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
