Calls for all cross-border roads to remain open post-Brexit



A Leitrim councillor is calling for measures to ensure cross-border roads in the north of the county remain open after Brexit.

Sinn Fein Councillor Padraig Fallon says when cross-border roads were closed during the Troubles, not only was farmland divided but also communities.

He says it resulted in people having to travel long distances.

He’s urging the Council in Leitrim to work to ensure none of the hundreds of border crossings are affected:
