Rural regeneration and the need for balanced regional development will be among the issues discussed at the annual Sean MacDiarmada Summer School which opens in Kiltyclogher, in north Leitrim this evening.
While the School celebrates the life and times of the 1916 signatory from nearby Corranmore, it’s also moving more towards dealing with current and topical issues.
Speakers on Saturday include politicians Eamon O Cuiv, Caomhain O Caolain and Mairead McGuinness.
