DyNamo Gym Club attended the National Acrobatic Championships on the 26th and 27th May at the National Sports Arena, with their largest team of competitors to date involving 46 local gymnasts. The DyNamo coaching team are so proud of each and every one of them. The team did exceptionally well returning with 12 National Medals claiming titles in grades 1, 2 and 5.
Results were as follows;
Grade 1 Mixed Pair National Silver Medallists Clodagh Lee and Ogie Barrett
Grade 2 Mixed Pair Gold Medallists Fionn McMorrow and Jilleane Palmero
Grade 2 Women’s Pair Gold Medallists Rhianna Friel and Aimee Gilligan
Grade 2 Women’s Group Bronze Medallists Cara Harness, Charlie Wilson and Nicola Kielty
Grade 5 Women’s Group Bronze Medallists Kate McGuinn, Sarah Mc Cormack and Lisa Kilfeather
In addition to this, 4 gymnasts were placed 4th place including Caragh Hopkins & Leah Murren in grade 2, and Caoimhe Darcy & Ceoilin Byrne in grade 3, which is a fantastic achievement at a national event.
