Enniscrone/Kilglass GAA notes 29th April 2018

Intermediate

After a break in competitive action last weekend, our intermediate footballers return to league action next Saturday evening when they travel to Dromard to take on St Pats. Throw-in is at 7pm. Please support.

U-16

The Enniscrone-Kilglass/Easkey U-16 team had a comprehensive 10-18 to 4-4 win over Owenmore Gaels last Monday. Their next outing is against Castleconnor on May 14th.

U-14

Our U-14s are in action on Thursday evening away to St John’s from 7pm.

U-12

Our U-12s secured their third successive win of their league campaign when they defeated Castleconnor 0-20 to 0-8 last Tuesday. They are in action again on Tuesday week (May 15th) at home to St Farnan’s.

Best wishes

Best of luck to the Sligo minor team who begin their Connacht Minor Championship campaign next Friday evening against Galway at Markievicz Park. The club is well represented with three players on the squad – Gavin Duffy, Dara Rouse and Adam Mullaney – with our own Michael Duffy manager of the team. The game has a 7pm throw-in time.

London Fundraiser

A huge thank you to Noel Sheridan and Fergus Sweeney on running a superb club fundraising draw in London over the bank holiday weekend. Thanks also to everyone who supported the draw and to businesses from near and far for the donation of prizes. The list of winners will be available on our social media platforms and website during the week.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Michael John Crean and his new wife Annette Lang on getting married last weekend. Well done to the Sligo footballers on their championship win over London last Sunday.
