Use your local post office if you want to keep it



Local residents and young people are being urged to use the services provided by their local post offices.

Sinn Fein Councillor Thomas Healy says it’s one way people can ensure the offices remain open.

He says An Post’s €50m investment plan should save post offices, such as Ballygawley and Easkey in County Sligo, from closure.

There’s also concern about the future of post office services in Blacklion, Co Cavan.
