Sinn Fein call on Independent Donegal Cllr Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig to consider his position

Sinn Fein has called on an Independent Donegal County County Cllr to consider his position over allegations he made last week.

Cllr Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig claimed that he and another man where threatened by members of Sinn Fein over the raising of a flag over a republican grave.

He also claimed that these men threatened them with the IRA.

But this has now been strongly denied by Sinn Fein and the man, who it’s claimed was threatened, has said it never happened.

Sinn Fein’s Pearse Doherty says the accusations have been damaging and proved untrue – and he now says Cllr Mac Giolla Easbuig must now consider his position:
