Gardai in Sligo have arrested a man in connection with the disappearance of a woman in the town.

The 32-year old is currently detained at Ballymote Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

The investigation is into the disappearance of 30-year old Natalia Karaczyn, who is missing from her home in Crozon Park in Sligo town since early on Sunday morning.

She is described as being 5’8″ in height, slim build with green eyes and medium length straight blond hair.

When last seen she was wearing a black lace body suit, black leather trousers, black jacket and black sandals with open toe.
