A new campaign video to make the streets safer and cut down on unprovoked attacks is being launched in Leitrim today.
‘Use Your Brain Not Your Fists’, filmed by Comhairle na nOg, encourages people to think before they act.
It’s being spearheaded by Joe Dolan who lost his son Andrew six years ago when he was assaulted after leaving a chipper in Mullingar.
Mr. Dolan says Andrew did nothing to provoke his attackers:
