Listenership to Ocean FM has shot up in the latest JNLR-MRBI radio survey.
The average weekday listenership figure has risen by 3% and now stands at 50%.
It means that half of the entire population of the franchise area of Sligo, North Leitrim and South Donegal tunes into Ocean FM every day.
The 50% figure compares with 30% for RTE Radio One, 15% for both Today FM and 2FM, 11% for Newstalk, and 6% for Lyric FM.
The station’s Market Share figure has also risen by 1.5%.
