Aurivo looking at possible business deal with LacPatrick



Aurivo has confirmed that it is looking at a potential business relationship with LacPatrick dairies.

Speaking to Ocean FM News today, Chairman of Aurivo Pat Duffy said they will take part in the formal process that Lacpatrick has announced to seek a business partner.

Mr. Duffy says that Aurivo has complimentary dairy portfolios and milk pools right across the Republic and into the North.

He says if a merger were to prove positive for their own members and those of another Co-op they would strongly consider that:

Meanwhile Aurivo has released its 2017 set of financial results today which the Co-op has described as a ‘very solid set of results’.

The northwest-based Co-op recorded an increase in turnover of 9% with increases in turnover right across its business units as well last year.

Pat Duffy, Chairman of Aurivo says they are well placed for the future despite the challenges ahead with the uncertainty around Brexit.
