Harps expecting tough test from Cabinteely

Following their excellent win over Shelbourne the Cabinteely squad will be full of confidence coming to Ballybofey tomorrow night to play Finn Harps (kick-off 8.00). That’s according to Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan who acknowledges that this League of Ireland First Division game is an extremely important match for the hosts after picking up only one point from their previous three league fixtures.

“Cabinteely’s win over Shelbourne puts them a point above us so they will come here full of confidence. Just to put that result into context, Shels are still third in the table so we have been impressing on our players the need to be switched on as they are well capable of scoring goals with the likes of Kieran ‘Marty’ Watters up front.”

Adam Duffy joins Gareth Harkin and Liam Walsh on the injury list after picking a knee injury in an U19 game on Sunday while Paddy McCourt is rated doubtful.
