Fine Gael slightly down in support in latest opinion poll



Fine Gael is losing support according to the latest opinion poll.

The party has dropped three points to 31 percent, while the Taoiseach has gone down five.

However Leo Varadkar is still the most popular political leader in the country.

He’s 15 points ahead of his closest rival Fianna Fáil’s Micheál Martin, whose party is on 26 percent support.

Sinn Féin is on 22 percent, Labour has 5 and Independents and others have 16 percent.

The survey by the Ipsos/MRBI in today’s Irish Times was conducted on Monday and Tuesday of this week.
