The Minister for Justice says efforts to secure a site for a new Garda regional headquarters in Sligo are now at ‘an advanced stage.’
Gardai have previously walked out of the station on Pearse Road, saying it was unfit for use.
Charlie Flanagan now expects a contract for acquisition of the new site to be ready in a couple of weeks.
