Arrival of fifteen cruise ships in Co Donegal will be massive boost for tourism in the northwest

The arrival of fifteen cruise ships in Killybegs this Summer will be a massive boost for the entire Northwest.

Fifteen cruise ships, carrying over 13,000 passengers will arrive during the next five months.

The first cruise liner, the German based MS Astor, carrying almost 600 passangers, will arrive at the end of this month.

The biggest of the ships to arrive in the summer will be the Cunard Line’s MS Queen Victoria and MS Queen Elizabeth in the middle of June. Between they’ll carry almost 4000 passengers. These will be by far the longest vessels ever to have visited Killybegs Port.
