Four Sligo players won an All-Ireland Freshers football medal last night.
Calry/St Joseph’s Adrian Cummins, St Molaise Gaels’ Luke Towey, Coolaney/Mullinabreena’s Barry Gorman and Tubbercurry’s Luke Gilmartin were all part of the DCU squad that beat UL in the final last night.
Eastern Harps’ Shane O’Grady was part of the Limerick squad.
DCU also won the freshers hurling final against the same opposition last night.
