Sligo schools qualify for Connacht finals



Summerhill College have booked their place in two Connacht finals this week.

Yesterday the school’s Juvenile team beat ST Gerald’s of Castlebar by 2-12 to 1-10 at the Connacht GAA Centre to reach the A Championship final.

On Wednesday, at the same venue, the school’s Junior side reached the Connacht B final thanks to their 3-9 to 2-9 defeat of St Muredach’s of Ballina.

Meanwhile, Tubbercurry’s St Attracta’s are through to a Connacht final as well.

They will contest the Juvenile B decider after beating St Louis Community School from Kiltimagh by 8-12 to 1-4 in Curry yesterday.

Their final will be against St Muredach’s and will take place at 12.30pm next Thursday at the Connacht GAA Centre.
