NWRA: Ireland 2040 plan significant for the North West



The head of the organisation that will have a significant role in implementing the government’s new Ireland 2040 plan says the document is significant for the North West.

The Northern and Western Regional Assembly is responsible for coordinating the measures for the North West outlined in the document by the government in Sligo recently.

Speaking on North West Today, Director of the Assembly David Minton says the document is an opportunity for the North West.

He says that the next step now is developing a more local spatial strategy.
