The Northwest looks set to escape the worst of the weather until the end of the week.
The beast from the east, as it’s being called will generally effect the East Coast.
There’s a status orange weather warning for places like Dublin, but there is no weather warning in place for the west or the northwest, alhough temperatures could drop to as low as -7 on Thursday and Friday.
