St Johns  Academy – Under Age Coaching for Boys and Girls

The St Johns Underage Academy Coaching commenced last weekend Feb 17th and 18th . Until the end of March all sessions will be held indoors.

Boys U7/8 Saturdays from 4-5pm and Boys U9/10Saturday 5-6pm; These will be held in The Sports Complex, Cleveragh                                                                   Boys U11/12 Saturday from 3-4pm in The Tennis Club   

Girls on Sunday U 7/8/9/10 from 4-5pm and U11/12/13/14 from 5-6pm both in the Sports Complex, Cleveragh

These coaching sessions are free for paid up members. If anybody else wants to come along, you can register at the session or contact Fergal on 0876760277

Club Mass Sunday Feb 18th

The annual club mass in memory of the deceased members and friends of St John’s GAA Club was held in St John’s Church, Carraroe on Sunday last. Thanks to Fr Jim for a lovely ceremony and to all the ladies who provided the catering in The Social Centre for the large crowd that attended. Our Minor team who won their minor league last year and our U12 Girls team were presented with their winners medals. A big thanks to the Chairman of Bord na nOg Fergal Kelly for his usual brilliant organising of the event.

 St Johns Lotto Draw

The Lotto numbers drawn in the last draw were 2, 3, 19, 22. There was no winner of the Jackpot prize of E 11,750. The winners of the E25 consolation prizes were; Hillary Gilligan, Drumfad, Grange; Cyril Mc Namara, Caltragh; Lucy Woodward, C/O Cliffords and Kieran Walsh Snr, Carraroe  The next draw will take place on Sat March 3rd @ 7pm in Cannings House and Garden, Cornageeha. Lotto tickets can be purchased from Cannings, Cornageeha; Clifford Electrical, Carraroe; The Blue Lagoon, Riverside; Mc Morrow’s Shop, Cairns Rd.; Crozon Inn; Molly Fultons, Carraroe.

Club Sligo

Sympathy

The St Johns club extend sincere sympathy to the Scanlon and Harrison families on the death of Ann’s brother Des in Cavan.

St Johns Pitches Closed

The St Johns pitches in Cuilbeg are closed to all users for the next few weeks for urgent maintenance works. Due to extra teams playing this year, each team manager needs to forward their requirements for time slots for the year ahead as soon as fixtures are available. Please text 087 678 7803 .
