Ahead of the National Planning Framework launch today, a Sligo/Leitrim TD is raising concerns that the North West has been forgotten about.
Fianna Fail TD Eamonn Scanlon raised the issue in the Dail in November of 2017 where he says there was no mention of the region in the plan at that time.
He says that while we need to wait for the plan to be released, he is concerned that the launch is taking place in Sligo to deflect from the lack of investment for the region.
