A glamping park in County Sligo featuring a jumbo jet, a chopper and a yacht has received planning permission
The propsed park has hit many stumbling blocks over the planning application but the businessman behind it is now excited to focus on funding the ambitious project.
David McGowan, who lives in Enniscrone, attracted international attention in May 2016 when he bought and transported a Boeing 767 plane from Co Clare by sea on a barge.
Since then the 57 year-old has added three former London Underground train carriages, a helicopter, a yacht, which arrived from France last year and a fleet of London cabs.
Speaking to Ocean FM News, Mr McGowan says if he gets the funding he now needs, he will create around 60 jobs:
