92 year-old man left on trolley in Letterkenny for almost 24 hours



A 92-year-old man who had pneumonia had to wait on a trolley for almost 24 hours at Letterkenny Unuversity Hospital.

The Co Donegal hospital has regularly been one of the most overcrowded in the country in the past few months.

And the full capacity protocol has remained in place at the hospital for over a month now.

Speaking in the Seanad yesterday, Donegal Senator Padraig MacLochlainn told the Health Minister, Simon Harris that he is outraged that a funding request submitted by the management of Letterkenny University Hospital was not approved:
