The automatic drink-driving ban as suggested by the Tranport Minister will have serious consequences for society.
That’s according to Leitrim Councillor and publican in Manorhamilton Felim Gurn who is against drink driving but says the new laws are going to lead to even more rural isolation.
The Independent Councillor says Shane Ross’s plans to ban anyone caught drink-driving straight away are dangerous.
He says it won’t be any particular industry affected but everyone will be impacted by this zero tolerance approach:
