Roads reopened in Leitrim/Fermanagh area after search for suspected explosive device

A number of roads that were closed near the Leitrim/Fermanagh border during a search by the PSNI for a suspected explosive device have now been reopened.

The searches come after police in Fermanagh last week received reports that a device has been left in a wooded area between Cashel Cross and Kiltyclogher.

Gardai have now confirmed that the Cashel Road, Cashel Lane and Kilcoo roads are now open again.

A statement from the PSNI is awaited on the results of the search.
