Met Eireann says we haven’t seen the last of Eleanor yet



A Status Orange wind warning remains in place for Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim until this afternoon.

debris-on-road-storm-jan-2018The warning is also in place for Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick while the a yellow warning is in place for Leinster as well as Roscommon, Cavan and Monaghan.

The ESB is restoring power to the remaining homes and properties without power.

The Gibraltar Road remains closed in Sligo town and the Easkey-Castle Road remains closed along the sea front.

high-tide-sligo-jan-03-2018Councils in the region are continue to warn people in coastal areas to be careful as another high tide will bring flooding this evening.

Motorists are also warned that there is still alot of debris on roads.
