A run down cottage in county Leitrim has sold to a UK buyer for the price of a family car.
The cottage just outside Carrick-on-Shannon made international headlines as an ideal present this Christmas.
The property is listed with REA Brady in Carrick on Shannon and sold for €32,000 in an online auction yesterday.
