Developers behind Donegal Town cinema plans right not to appeal planning decision



Donegal Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher says the developers behind a proposed new cinema in Donegal Town made the correct decision by not appealing planning.

Tyrone company WJ Dolan Construction Ltd had applied to Donegal Co Council in September for the construction of a five-screen cinema with 714 seats close to the Lidl store in the town.

Planning for the development was turned down last month, and it was confirmed yesterday that the developers were not appealing the decision.
