New information gives family of Mary Boyle hope of a breakthrough



The family of Mary Boyle say they have been given renewed hope that there may be a breakthrough in the case.

Two Co Donegal men, one of whom is now living in the UK, are to speak to the Gardai as they claim they found a cardigan similar to the one the six-year-old was wearing when she went missing.

The two men were part of the search when they were teenagers forty years ago.

Mary Boyle went missing near Cashelard on March 18, 1977 and has never been found.

Her cousin, Joe Craig, who runs the Justice for Mary Boyle campaign, says this gives the family renewed hope:
