Clubs, organisations and individuals are invited to attend an information session on cardiac arrest this (Thursday) evening in The Castledargan Hotel at 8pm.
Those attending will be shown what to do in cases of cardiac emergencies.
The event will be hosted by Ballygawley Sooey Defibrillator Working Group, which recently coordinated a successful fundraising drive to buy three defibrillators in the area.
Speakers tonight will include Brigid Sinnott from the Irish Heart Foundation; Mark Callanan, National Ambulance Service Cardiac First Responder Coordinator; Siobhan Masterson, national project manager of the Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest; and Darren Torpey, Air Sea Rescue 118 Coast Guard.
