Sligo town library ‘not fit for purpose’



A Sligo councillor claims the county’s main central library in Sligo town is ‘not fit for purpose.’

Sinn Fein Councillor Chris MacManus says it is smaller than the libraries in Ballymote and Tubbercurry yet deals with about five times the number of users.

He says there is a need for a bigger building with improved facilities for staff and users.
