Build-up continues to Sunday’s county final showdown in Donegal



Kilcar captain Patrick McBrearty is expecting a big crowd in Mac Cumhaill Park in Ballybofey on Sunday, for their eagerly-anticipated county final against Naomh Conaill.

Kilcar are contesting the final for the second successive season, but it is 23 years since their last championship success back in 1993.

Naomh Conaill, meanwhile, are looking to reclaim a title last won by in 2015.

And McBrearty admits there is a lot of excitement from supporters…

Sunday’s final throws-in at 4pm and will be live on Ocean FM in association with Edge Clothing, Donegal Town.

The Killybegs county championship-winning team of 1992 are to be honoured during Sunday’s final as well, 25 years on from their defeat of Naomh Columba in the final.
