Markievicz to host Tubber-Tourlestrane semi-final

Next Sunday’s Belfry Senior Football Championship semi-final between Tourlestrane and Tubbercurry will take place in Markievicz Park.

The game will throw-in at four o’clock and will form part of an attractive double-header in the park along with the Kennedys Intermediate Championship final.

That game sees St John’s and St Farnan’s go head-to-head for the title from two o’clock, and it will be live on Ocean FM in association with Cannings Spar House & Garden.

The winners of Sunday’s senior semi-final will face Eastern Harps in the decider following their defeat of St Mary’s last weekend.

That game is likely to take place on Sunday week in Markievicz, as part of a double-header with the hurling final between Calry/St Joseph’s and Western Gaels.

Kilcar and Naomh Conaill will clash in the Donegal senior final on the same day.

The Glenties side beat Gaoth Dobhair last weekend, and attacker Dermot ‘Brick’ Molloy is looking forward to taking on last year’s beaten finalists…
