World champion Mona McSharry will be back in the pool in Indianapolis today as she goes on the hunt for a third medal.
The 17-year-old Grange native set a new Irish record when becoming the first ever Irish gold medal winner at the World Junior Championships on Saturday when she won the 100 metres breaststroke.
The Marlins club member has also pocketed a bronze medal in the 50 metres breaststroke at the championships, and she goes in the first round of heats for the 200 metres in the afternoon.
McSharry is the current European junior champion at the distance.
On Sunday, the Sligo superstar also competed in the 50 metres freestyle, but did not qualify from the heats.
